Challenge Almere-Amsterdam will attract a and a womenas group of the Triathlon Club Almere for the famous Eredivisie Triathlon. Welzorg will be co-sponsor of aTeam Challenge TVA Almere. The Eredivisie Triathlon (Premier League) is a national circuit of five triathlon races where the top of Dutch tri-athletes participates. The ultimate will take place throughout the Team Relay on the Sunday of the Process Almere Amsterdam week-end of 13-15 September. The womenas group is established by Fiona Sleeuwenhoek, Christie Brouwer, Desiree Reekers, Jolanda van der Meulen, Danielle Spoelder and Angelique van Tilburg. The menAs teamAis shaped by Omar Bronze, Tjardo Visser, Tjerk Jallema, Jarrich van Woersem, Frank Veltman and Jefry Visser. The six women and six men train at the Triathlon Association Almere, and now follow additional team teaching. Triathlon Almere Association even offers a team in the First Division Triathlon. (C) Rik Besselink Led by staff instructor Merijn Schuurman both teams are training for the biggest sporting event in Almere. This past year the men gained a 10th place in the Eredivisie. Target of trainer Schuurman is really a top 5 ranking for his staff. Maybe not impossible if taking a look at the performance of the athletes. Tjardo Visser became Dutch Champion (men under 23) at the Olympic range in 2012 and World Champion O3 in 2008. Jarrich van Woersem was already Dutch success across triathlona in the junior and pulled out a gold medal at the European Championships.
