Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester United right back Gary Neville has helped pay part of the wages for the footballers of Bury Football Club. The League One club are in a massive financial crisis, and are on the brink of collapse unless someone comes in to save the club.
"It is massive that a club like Bury have people like this. The Neville family have been an integral part of the club for a number of years now. That is typical of Gary's character – I wasn't surprised to hear that about him."
