Chelsea FC, adidas launch viral strategy - ABS CBN News

MANILA, Philippines -- To celebrate the launch of the new Chelsea FC house clothing for the 2013/14 period, adidas has presented a new campaign a "Itas Blue, What Else Matters" -- which has gone viral on the Internet. The cut encourages Chelsea fans across the globe to go "all in" and buy the new 2013/14 home package before seeing it. The one-and-half-minute movie presenting a number of Chelseaas biggest stars including Juan Mata, David Luiz, Gary Cahill and team captain John Terry. According to the sports apparel giant, hours were spent two by each player on collection, where these were doused with blue paint. "The blue is to belong to this club, as a player and a supporter," Mata discussed in a statement. "I have actually enjoyed being element of this day, I would do anything for this club and to show my appreciation for being a Blue means every thing to me,a Luiz included. According to adidas, the plan was developed "based on the awareness that Chelsea may obviously own 'blue' as a color." "Not only do they sing about any of it, but they are the only club in the English Premier League that call themselves aThe Blues.a Seeing the participants take part and show their commitment to the color and the lengths that they will go to will encourage the fans and show the club as they've never been observed before,a adidas said. The campaign was launched last April 5 and has received almost 1 million views on video-sharing site YouTube.
