If you have not heard about Howard linebacker Keith Pough you are forgiven. He is a small-school prospect who didn't just inflate the combine. He is been beneath the radar for most of the draft process, therefore his name is not the one that most fans know. They'll learn about him soon enough, when his passionate play and hot temperament make him a spot on an NFL lineup. Pough has a chip on his neck going back to senior high school, when he was a 6-foot, 170-pound recipient in Sc. Even with a huge senior season and a growth spurt, Pough was only casually employed, getting opportunities to walk on at schools like LSU and Vanderbilt. Despite where he wanted to go these presents, Pough knew. Always interested in the traditionally black colleges and universities, Pough chose to play at Howard, where they made him feel most at home. The remainder, as the saying goes, is history. Pough turned a two-time All-American and a highly regarded draft prospect. Today, he is living out what he calls his "lifelong dream." When asked in regards to the draft method, Pough stated, "It is unique, via where I got from." As he's fully aware that he needs to keep attempting to achieve his desire, though: "There is no time for you to experience the moment...Any given time, this can be taken away.", a mid-round possibility Therefore, Pough can keep working. He'll continue to produce his strengths: his interest, his "tremendous game speed," his "pad level" and strength at the purpose of contact. Don't genuinely believe that Pough is not comfortable, although. Asked to spell it out his advantages as a football player, he believed, "Off the edge, I'm unstoppable." He's also confident in his treating ability, claiming to create down "anything I put my hands on." At the same time both confident and modest, Pough has all of the mental characteristics to be a great NFL player. He is a worker in the training center, the weight room and the picture room. Actually, Pough thinks his film study his greatest power. With that in mind, Pough isn't the slightest touch upset by his gradual 4.90 40-yard dash at the NFL combine, lots he increased to 4.75 at his pro day. Pough can take his instincts and area recognition over real course speed any time. His motto says as much: "Stopwatches don't make tackles." Pough's confidence is well placed. His treating in his sport tape is exceptional, and he certainly looks faster when compared to a 4.9 man. Pough is perhaps the best linebacker in this draft at making the play, tracking him down and obtaining the ball carrier. As he watch is constantly around the ball against Rutgers, his only major meeting opposition in 2012. Concentrating so much on Pough the baseball player does not do justice to Pough the person. That child has his head in the best place. Asked if there is something he wanted the entire world to learn about him, Pough humbly responded, "I am just a modest child with the chance to produce my desire a just need one group to drop in love with me and give me an opportunity." So, minds around every NFL team. Keith Pough is a steal waiting to be had at the center times, and he is picked by whoever up can get not merely a good football player but also a high-character child.
