UConn girls rout Louisville for 8th name

NEW ORLEANS (AP) a Freshman Breanna Stewart scored 23 details and Connecticut won its eighth national championship with an archive 93-60 rout of Louisville on Tuesday night. The success tied Geno Auriemma and the Huskies (35-4) with Pat Summitt and Tennessee for probably the most titles in women's basketball history. It was the most lopsided victory in a championship game. It will not take long for Auriemma to move Summitt just how Stewart and the rest of his Huskies enjoyed. His precious freshman was unstoppable, striking pictures from every-where on the court. The reduction ended an unprecedented tournament run by Louisville (29-9) and left UConn as the only team to win both the men's and women's titles in the exact same season. The Cardinals' men's team beat Michigan on Monday evening and coach Rick Pitino was in the group wanting to spur on the women's program. It wasn't enough.
