UPDATED: 12:12 EST, 5 April 2013 Martin Jol wants to keep striker Dimitar Berbatov at Fulham for the next 3 years and sees no reason why his star man would want to keep. Fulham are unbeaten in five suits and that has in large part been down to the scintillating type of the Bulgarian, who has four goals in his last five. Jol produced Berbatov to the Premier League when he reached Tottenham in 2006 and the pair were reunited last summer. And now Jol wants to extend his stay in West London. On form: Berbatov has won 13 group goals this season, and Jol is confident the Bulgarian will continue Happy days: Jol insists Berbatov is loving his time at the West London team aOf course you wish to keep your absolute best players,a said Jol. aDimitar is 32, I feel heas happy here and I will see him staying here for another several years. aI donat know if other groups is likely to be thinking about him. Maybe they will develop that concept but also for us there's no situation. We're very healthier, so just why would we provide him? Friends reunited: Jol managed Berbatov at Tottenham, and thinks he can have another four years with the striker at Fulham aI think heas had an effect on the whole period. He enjoys it here, he loves playing here. aHeas showing everyone else heas happy, heas won objectives from the beginning. He can play in the opening, which will be not his natural situation, but he can accomplish that for the staff. Heas great to own around.a The line will be led by berbatov as Fulham get on Newcastle on Sunday, wanting to extend their unbeaten function in the Premier League to six suits. But Jol thinks the away defeat to Benfica in the Europa League last week might damage Alan Pardewas part in the relegation struggle. He said: aIave been in the exact same situation several times and itas challenging. You to focus on the Europa League, you have to focus on the League, and that combination may cost you. aI could remember when I was controlling in Germany I played in the Europa League semi-final and I was really happy since we went out on goal difference against Werder Bremen to drop out of that. aWe had to play different games and in the long run we achieved in what we wanted and were in the most truly effective five. But I will see us playing in that final on the Thursday before we had to play in the group on the Saturday and I think if we were in the final we would not have won that game. aBirmingham won the Carling Cup and went down. Maybe you can question them understand what they would have chosen, to stay in the League or gain the Carling Cup. Itas not really a great combination.a Fulham must experience Newcastle without Steve Sidwell, who is stopped after being sent down against QPR on Monday while Ashkan Dejegah can be out after picking up an ankle injury in the same fit. Mladen Petric misses out with an abductor pressure while Mahamadou Diarra remains privately lines with an extended term leg injury. Absent: Steve Siwell (left) is suspended for the conflict with Newcastle on Sunday, while Mladen Petric (right) is going with an injuree along with Ashkan Dejagah and long-term absentee Mahamadou Diarra
