While scrolling through Reddit, I ran across an article described aThis person shouldn't manage to attend a sporting event again.a Listed here is the image of said man:, this morning For anyone of you who donat follow the NHL, the Boston Bruins are now enjoying the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the playoffs (Boston is up 2-1 after winning yesterday evening, incidentally). So in a not-too-clever undertake the new aBoston Stronga rallying cry, this Toronto fan mocked up (or bought?) this sign and basically brought it to the market. aBoston Stronga referrals the cityas handle in the aftermath of the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, and the expression hence brings up plenty of thoughts for the cityas residents, its sports teams and their fans. Obviously, sports fans aren't regarded as the most morally/socially/emotionally conscious persons, and a psychological sticking point like aBoston Stronga (and all it represents) was bound to be capitalized upon at some point. And in the event that you asked them why they chose to provide personal things into the realm of sport, they would say something across the lines of aHey man, something for the win.a Itas a fine line between hoping to get into your opponentsa brains and crossing over into missing human decency. There are various levels of this for the duration of every league, on every level, in every city. The aHoney Nut Cheeriosa chant in Boston one other night concerns mind; Duke fans wondering a new player aHowas your grandma?a does as well. The question is, whatas too far? He with the sign, while dickish, strikes me as more stupid than harmful. Itas like somebody making fun of a breast cancer ribbon a' why could you do this besides ignorance of the movementas significance and meaning? Obviously, this man doesnat know anybody from Boston. Now, if he had a a Tsarnaeva chant in the group, that could likely be reasons for dismissal from the arena and a time of being hated by everyone with a moral compass. What you think? Are there lines that just should not be entered a' and if so, what are they? Or must sports fandom be like Daniel Tosh and rape jokes a nothing out of bounds in the service of humor?
